Have I mentioned how much fun I’m having?

I’ve been looking at a lot of those old English style botanical art books lately – learnin’ about nice compositions and whatnot.

Here is the Kiss of Xerxes, a common flower in the Dream Fields of Beta Sirius 5. It may or may not eat your face off, not sure. Both the male and female flowers are shown, as well as the fruit of said flowers.

  1. That’s quite lovely, Spyder. And glad to know you’re having fun. That is the main purpose of this, after all.

Your flower from Beta Sirius 5 reminded me of something I came across recently. I had never heard of this book until a few days ago, but your flowers might be at home in the Codex Seraphinianus.
